London Fashion Week Kicks it all off.

After attending university for less than two weeks, I have been given the task to create an ongoing blog... Unfortunately this is my third! yes third attempt. Luckily for me, London Fashion Week kicked off just as i arrived, so I took the chance to go and grace a few shows, including Corrie Neilson and Jasper Garvida. Both equally as brilliant, but in two totally different ways.
Corrie Neilsons work emanated the oriental feel, with lux silks in komo styles and delicate prints such as birds and flowers. She took fashion into a more sophisticated mode. Where as Jasper Garvida went full throttle and took out every piece of metallic fabric and bead he could find to the catwalk. His work ranged from structured mini dresses and tuxedo's (my favorite) to a trench coat which resembled a large sweet wrapper. However, similarly to Neilson, Garvida took on the oriental feel and chose to radiate this into his final piece, a floor length dress that would be suitable on any red carpet.
It was amazing to experience London Fashion Week in the way its meant to be seen, and hopefully ill be able to work more shows in February. If only i was five feet taller....
